Why this Toolkit?
With the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD 2022/2464/EU) now in effect, companies are expected to disclose their biodiversity-related impacts across their value chains. The ESG Biodiversity Toolkit offers a practical and standardised approach for aligning sustainability strategies with EU regulatory requirements.
Developed by DRAXIS Environmental (DRAXIS) in collaboration with the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), and supported through EU funding, the toolkit is tailored to meet the evolving needs of companies striving for transparency, accountability and biodiversity-positive action.
Key Features
- Aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) sector-specific indicators
- Covers five critical biodiversity impact drivers: Climate change, Land use change, Pollution, Resource exploitation, and Biodiversity loss
- Automatically calculates and provides quantitative impact results, easing the reporting burden for ESG teams
