Join our BIOTRAILS Learning and Action Alliances!
The BIOTRAILS project has reached an incredible milestone with the launch of our Learning and Action Alliances (LAAs). These LAAs are more than just communities; they’re engaged and inclusive hubs that bring together a diverse array of stakeholders from across the four dynamic value chains of our project. These LAAs are characterised by fruitful collaboration and learning about challenges and opportunities of transformative change and enabling the climate-biodiversity-society nexus management.
The BIOTRAILS project will feature 6 LAAs, 4 out of which will deal with each of the project’s case studies. 1 inter-project LAA will enable cross-sectoral and multi-stakeholder learning on commonly encountered issues across the project’s case study-based LAAs. Finally, 1 trans-project LAA will allow knowledge exchange between the BIOTRAILS consortium and other relevant projects and initiatives.

The implementation of the BIOTRAILS LAAs’ actions (on top of local-level activities) will be facilitated through the BIOTRAILS Learning Platform. The BIOTRAILS Learning Platform acts as an online community and social learning space aiming to help support the fruitful collaboration and learning about challenges and opportunities of transformative change as well as the climate-biodiversity-society nexus management in those four value chains and beyond. On the Platform, you can connect, discuss and share experiences with other actors, participate in various co-creation activities of the project and be the first to test the project’s tools, validate our methods and learn about different transitional pathways and solutions for more sustainable value chains.
